Production Supervisor - Manufacturing
Windsor Area, ON
Our client is an established manufacturer operating within a highly regulated production environment and is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join its operations leadership team.
This is an opportunity to lead approximately 30-40 unionized employees while driving production performance, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in developing your team, solving operational challenges, and helping the facility achieve its production goals.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead daily operations across the manufacturing operation.
- Supervise approximately 30-40 unionized production employees.
- Coordinate staffing, overtime, shift coverage, and production priorities.
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees while supporting performance management.
- Maintain compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality, and workplace safety standards.
- Partner with HR, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance,
and Warehouse to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions.
- Complete production reports, payroll exceptions, and operational documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Leadership Scope
You'll provide leadership across a diverse manufacturing operation, including responsibilities that support:
- Production operations
- Product quality and inspection
- Material movement and shipping
- Maintenance coordination
- Equipment sanitation and housekeeping
- General manufacturing support
What We're Looking For
- Progressive supervisory or production leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading hourly production employees in a fast-paced operation.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with scheduling, workforce planning, overtime coordination, and employee performance management.
- Comfortable working within structured manufacturing processes and documentation requirements.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Valid G Driver's Licence.
Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food processing, automotive, packaging, plastics, or other regulated manufacturing environments is highly valued.
Experience leading employees in a unionized manufacturing environment is considered a robust asset.
Nice to Have
- GMP or GDP experience.
- ERP or manufacturing software experience.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Experience collaborating with Quality and Maintenance teams.

Experience:
- manufacturing supervisory: 3 years (required)
