Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate everyday maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance and horticulture, and the ability to supervise a team effectively. This role offers an opportunity to lead diverse landscaping tasks while ensuring high-quality standards and client satisfaction.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance crew members to complete various task’s efficiently and safely
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, planting, and soil preparation
- Apply horticultural principles to promote healthy plant growth and garden aesthetics
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members to improve skills in gardening, horticulture, and mainteance techniques
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or construction environments
- Full G license with truck and trailer driving experience
- Strong background in gardening, horticulture, and general landscape care
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Physical capability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
