Position Title: Housekeeper

Reports To: Lodge Manager

Location: Bella Coola Heli Sports lodges, Remote (shift work)

Schedule: 15 days on, 6 days off (approximately), 10hrs/ a day

Terms: Seasonal Full-Time (December-April)

Bella Coola Heli Sports operates in the glaciated wilderness of BC’s central coast. We provide world-class skiing in the winter, and connect our guests with incredible wilderness adventures in the summer. We operate from three remote properties, one of which is in the Tatla Lake region of the Chilcotin’s and two which are in the Bella Coola Valley. We boast the largest heli-skiing tenure of any operator in the world and our Himalayan like mountains draw outdoor enthusiasts from around the world.

Job Description

We are looking for hardworking, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in creating exceptional guest experiences through thoughtful meticulous cleanliness and impeccable presentation. As a Housekeeper at Bella Coola Heli Sports, you play an essential role in ensuring our guests return each day to a welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully maintained lodge after their adventures in the mountains.

This is a physically active position that requires efficiency, organization, and a strong eye for detail. Working in a remote mountain lodge, you'll care for guest accommodations, shared spaces, laundry operations, staff spaces, and the overall presentation of the property. Success in this role comes from balancing consistency with genuine care—creating spaces that feel warm, inviting, and effortlessly prepared while working collaboratively with the entire lodge team. Responsibilities:

Guest Accommodation & Housekeeping

- Clean and prepare guest accommodations to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation.




- Complete daily stayover services and full room changeovers with efficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ensure guest rooms are fully stocked with amenities, linens, and thoughtful finishing touches that reflect Bella Coola Heli Sports' hospitality standards.
- Handle guest laundry with care, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Lodge Presentation & Laundry Operations

- Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout all guest-facing areas, staff facilities, and shared spaces.
- Support daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and restocking linens, towels, uniforms, and housekeeping supplies.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient housekeeping and laundry area.
- Monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies and communicate replenishment needs to management.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns or facility issues promptly.

Operational Support & Team Collaboration

- Work closely with Reception, Guest Services, Maintenance, and the Culinary team to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Adapt to changing operational priorities while maintaining efficiency and exceptional quality.
- Assist with shared lodge responsibilities and support other departments whenever needed.
- Communicate daily progress, guest requests, and operational updates clearly with the management team.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive workplace where teamwork and accountability are valued.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in a housekeeping role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, lifting supplies, and remaining active throughout the workday.
- Comfortable living and working in a remote mountain lodge environment.
- Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Preferred:

- Experience in luxury hospitality, remote lodges, resorts, or adventure tourism.
- Experience with commercial laundry operations.
