We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Casual Health Care Aide to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings, ensuring they receive respectful, personalized care that promotes their independence and well-being. Responsibilities

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of prescribed treatments
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, respecting dietary restrictions and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of resident spaces
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities




- Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with mobility aids and transfers, ensuring safety during movement within the facility or home setting

Requirements

- Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and experience supporting residents with cognitive impairments is advantageous
- Ability to administer medications accurately following established protocols
- Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities
- Experience performing light cleaning tasks and meal preparation in a healthcare setting
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents’ quality of life
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for motivated candidates

Pay: $17.71-$18.00 per hour
