What the Role Looks Like:

As a Sales Clerk at Liquor Plus, you will help create a positive experience for our customers by providing friendly service, assisting with product selection, processing transactions, and maintaining an organized and welcoming store environment.

This is a hands-on customer service role where you will have the chance to learn about a wide variety of beer, wine, and spirits while developing your product knowledge and customer service skills. The successful candidate will be reliable, approachable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role requires full availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service and product recommendations.
- Operating the POS system accurately and handling customer transactions.




- Verifying customer identification and following liquor sale regulations.
- Stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Assisting with receiving deliveries, inventory counts, and daily store tasks.
- Keeping pricing, signage, and promotions accurate and up to date.
- Supporting opening and closing procedures as directed by management.
- Following company policies, liquor regulations, and WorkSafeBC safety standards.
- Learning about new products and participating in product knowledge training.

What We're Looking For

- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or cashier experience is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interested in learning about a wide variety of beer, wine, and spirits.

Requirements:

- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid Serving It Right certification.

Working Conditions

This is an active retail role requiring you to be on your feet for most of your shift. The position includes regular lifting and carrying of merchandise up to 25 lbs, as well as working in a fast-paced environment where multitasking, organization, and customer service are key.
