Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative serves as a key point of contact for customers and sales, providing quotes, product information, returns, order support, and technical assistance. This role works closely with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to identify business opportunities, deliver exceptional service, and support HYDAC's sales objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The employees’ responsibilities in the role include, but are not limited to:

- Review and respond to customer inquiry for standard product, electronically (via e-mail).
- Verify customer orders for any discrepancies.
- Completed orders reviewed, verified and e-mailed to customer.
- Forward TIR’s including service quote (when necessary) to customer contact.
- Issue credits when required.
- Technical information provided via data sheet or individual knowledge, otherwise communicated with Product Management to provide customer solution.
- Support Outside Sales on contracts (cost savings, lead times, etc.)
- Develop logistics solutions with OEM.
- All inquiries must be quoted using SAP generated quote.
- Enter all pertinent information into SAP.




- Issue Return Authorization number via SAP system including original purchase order number, price, quantity, sales order number and reason for return.
- Initiate part number set up.
- Enter information into SAP, all special ZNET pricing for each individual OEM.
- Enter customer specific part numbers into SAP.
- Create purchase requisitions.
- Create/Update all excel price files.
- Quote from factory when necessary for quantity price break or non-standard material. Convert currencies to develop sell price.
- Review of all open orders on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for working with purchasing to ensure orders are on time and KPIs are met.
- Update customers on improved or delayed deliveries.
- Review safety stock requirements for specific customers when necessary.
- Review of customer forecast/planning.
- Review of specific safety stock levels (inventory).
- Review/update global contracts at factory level.
- Manage in-house customer inventory.
- Work with product management on development projects.

Qualifications

- 10 years of experience in Inside Sales, or related experience.
- Prior SAP experience.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.




- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.

Skills and Competencies

- Proficient with SAP (Training will be provided, but prior experience is considered an asset)
- Processing Returns through to credit
- OEM and Distribution
- Advanced MS Excel skills

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
