Health Care Aide (HCA)

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care while supporting clients' dignity and independence
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Provide companionship and social support
- Assist with medication reminders and management, as directed
- Communicate with clients, families, and the care team
- Observe and report changes in clients' condition
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time

Qualifications

- Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide (HCA) program within the last five years,



or current enrollment in a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) program
- Active Alberta Health Care Aide (HCA) Registration
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid driver's licence preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
