Sales Associate – Hockey Department

United Sport & Cycle is seeking Full-Time a Sales Associate to join our Team! These are permanent positions primarily within our Division 2 - Hockey department with opportunities to also work in many areas of the store. This role strives to create extraordinary memories with our customers in helping them gear up for their sports and throughout their season!

YOU are a person who:

- Has 3+ years of previous/continuous experience playing or coaching Hockey.
- Possesses 2+ years of Customer Service/Sales experience (in retail an asset)
- Is a passionate team player who knows the importance of going above and beyond for the customer.
- Has an interest in and a background knowledge of hockey gear and skates.
- Your customer service skills are beyond measure and go above & beyond.
- You have an ability to connect with your customers so they feel heard and appreciated.
- Has proven experience excelling in a high paced workplace.
- Has a strong attention to detail.
- Enjoys a fun working environment that work as a TEAM.
- Is a self-starter and can complete tasks/projects as required.
- Brings ideas for improvement forward and helps implement them
- Demonstrates the ability to deal effectively with people and problem solve.
- Enjoys the challenge of reaching and exceeding sales targets
- Actively pursues product knowledge and wants to know about sports equipment, latest trends, changes in the industry.
- Has that amazing entrepreneurial spirit!
- Strives to go above and beyond and exceed levels of expectation
- Basic computer skills
- Has a passion for multiple Sports that we sell which may also include Figure Skates, Bikes, Training Equipment, Lacrosse, Ringette, Baseball, Soccer, etc.
