VICKAR FORD is currently accepting applications for a full-time Lot Attendant / Porter to join our service team!

Typical Schedule: Monday to Friday during the day, with occasional evening or Saturday shifts as needed.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Transport vehicles between service, detailing, and storage areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, and productive back lot for vehicle staging and movement
- Wash and detail vehicles; remove snow, ice, and debris from vehicles and lot areas
- Salt, sand, shovel, and sweep walkways, entrances, and service lanes to ensure safe access
- Start, refuel, and boost vehicle batteries as required
- Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle flow and readiness
- Perform vehicle inspections for cleanliness and damage before delivery to customers
- Clean and disinfect vehicles and designated facility areas
- Support inventory management by tagging and tracking vehicle locations
- May assist with parts deliveries, customer shuttle service, or dealership errands
- Maintain professional and respectful interactions with staff and guests
- Carry out other related duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

- Valid Manitoba driver’s license (Intermediate or Full) with a clean driving record – MPI abstract required
- Physically capable of standing, walking, crouching, bending, reaching,



and lifting (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift
- Self-driven and able to work independently with a positive attitude
- Dependable and punctual
- Commitment to safety in all aspects of the role
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- High school diploma preferred
- Previous auto industry experience an asset
- Satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
