POSITION SUMMARY

The COR Quality Assurance Analyst supports the integrity, consistency, and quality of AMTA's Certificate of Recognition (COR) and Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) programs.

The role is responsible for conducting quality assurance reviews of completed audit submissions to verify compliance with Alberta government requirements, Certifying Partner standards, and AMTA program requirements. By promoting the consistent application of program standards and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, the position helps maintain the quality, credibility, and integrity of AMTA's certification programs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Conduct quality assurance reviews of COR and SECOR audit submissions.

· Verify compliance with Alberta government requirements, Certifying Partner standards,



and AMTA program requirements.

· Review audit reports, supporting documentation, scoring, and validation methods for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

· Provide guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to auditors.

· Respond to auditor inquiries and communicate quality assurance findings professionally and respectfully.

· Identify deficiencies, inconsistencies, omissions, or areas requiring clarification and communicate correction requests clearly and consistently.

· Maintain accurate records and documentation.

· Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance program quality and operational efficiency.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Experience

· Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

· Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health and safety or a related field.

· Experience conducting or reviewing health and safety audits.

· Experience interpreting legislation, standards, or quality assurance requirements.

· Experience providing technical guidance, coaching, or mentoring is considered an asset.

Skills

· Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to interpret technical requirements objectively and consistently.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business applications.

· Knowledge of Alberta's COR and SECOR programs is considered an asset.
