We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Ontario OHIP Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing and submitting Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) billing claims, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations. Your expertise will help streamline billing operations, support efficient patient care, and maintain the integrity of medical records. Qualifications:

- Ontario OHIP physician billing and claim submission. Prior OHIP billing experience is essential
- Reviewing physician schedules to ensure billing information is complete and accurate
- Verifying patient health card information and appointment details
- Identifying and correcting billing discrepancies before submission
- Investigating and resolving rejected or unpaid claims




- Working with electronic medical records (experience with InputHealth/TELUS Health CHR would be considered an asset)
- Experience using MDBilling (or similar Ontario medical billing software) would be a strong asset
- Understanding PHIPA requirements and maintaining strict patient confidentiality
- Working independently with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities:

- Processing and submitting OHIP billings for our physicians
- Reviewing upcoming appointments to ensure billing information is accurate
- Updating billing information where required
- Communicating with clinic staff or physicians if clarification is needed
- Monitoring billing issues that could affect physician payments
- Ensuring billing records remain accurate and current

Pay: $25.00 per hour
