About Us GPEX Transport Inc. is a growing freight and logistics company operating a fleet of 100 trucks and 250 trailers. We're looking for an experienced Repair Shop Supervisor to help keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.

About the Role We're hiring a Repair Shop Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations for our fleet of 100 trucks and 250 trailers. You'll work closely with our Lead Mechanic to plan, schedule, and track all repair and preventive maintenance work, while keeping accurate records in our maintenance system.

Responsibilities

- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and repair work for the fleet in coordination with the Lead Mechanic
- Prioritize daily/weekly shop workload, balancing urgent breakdowns with scheduled maintenance
- Coordinate unit availability with dispatch to minimize downtime
- Assign and review work performed by the Lead Mechanic and shop technicians
- Enter and maintain repair orders, labor hours,



parts used, and job status in the maintenance system
- Track parts inventory and flag reorder needs
- Monitor repair costs and compare vendor quotes for outside work
- Ensure all repairs and inspections meet DOT/Transport Canada and provincial safety standards
- Prepare regular reports on downtime, repair costs, and PM compliance for management

Requirements

- Experience in fleet maintenance, shop supervision, or a related trucking/transportation role
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Comfortable with data entry and maintenance tracking software
- Working knowledge of DOT/CVIP compliance requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively with mechanics and dispatch teams
- Valid driver's license (asset)
