- Operate, maintain and control the MZR machine- organize weight logs, ash drums and inventory. Ensure the machine is maintained, cleaned and efficient.
- Moves material to and from storage and production areas, loads docks & delivery vehicles by forklift, hand and other equipment.
- Receives written or oral instructions for work assignments, determines applicable material and equipment needs.
- Confers with leads and/or supervisors to report material conditions that could result in production or customer problems.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Ensure equipment are safely and securely stored
- Dispose of garbage according to set policies and procedures
- Clean work sites and ensure all tools placed back to where they belong
- Provide manual labour assistance on various tasks and assignments
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
- Help setup equipment or setup machines if needed or to support team and vendor logs.
- Assist with maintenance and facility repairs or needs with internal or external resources.
- Suggest changes in manufacturing that will increase machine performance, operator efficiency or reduce downtime.




- Help oversee and complete routine daily inspections of motors, electrical systems, HVAC and utility equipment, power generation equipment, boilers, kettles, air compressors, furnaces, manufacturing equipment and material handling equipment.
- Instructed to work with the other members of the team to coordinate and oversee various capital or repair projects as required.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and company safety policies and procedures within maintenance department at all times.
- Support other departments in various plant inspections such as health and safety and waste management.
