We are seeking a passionate and energetic Ballet Teacher for Thursday evenings to inspire and nurture the love of dance in students of all ages. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster creativity, discipline, and confidence through the art of ballet. As a Ballet Teacher, you will lead engaging classes that emphasize proper technique, artistry, and enjoyment of movement. Your dedication will help students develop their skills while cultivating a positive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver dynamic ballet lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels, ensuring clear instruction and progression.
- Demonstrate proper ballet techniques, including posture, alignment, turns, jumps, and combinations, fostering technical mastery.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages students’ self-expression, confidence, and love for dance.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Maintain a protected studio environment by ensuring proper equipment use and adherence to safety guidelines.




- Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate student achievements and areas for improvement.
- Organize or assist with student performances, showcases, or recitals to celebrate their progress and boost morale.

Skills

- Proven experience in teaching ballet using the RAD syllabus.
- Teaching grade 3, grade 4, intermediate foundation and advance ballet classes.
- Spins and Leap Technique Class.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct students of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate both technical skill-building and artistic expression.

Pay: $25.00-$48.18 per hour
