We are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to support all Genesis Group companies. This role represents an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who is looking to gain hands-on experience across all areas of Human Resources while helping build and strengthen HR processes within a growing organization.
Position Summary
This is a hands-on Human Resources role responsible for supporting all HR functions across the Genesis Group of Companies.
As the primary Human Resources resource for the organization, the Human Resources Administrator will play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, Health & Safety administration, policy development, compliance, onboarding, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will help establish and improve HR processes, support organizational growth, and contribute to building a positive workplace culture across all companies.
The successful candidate will work closely with leadership and be comfortable balancing day-to-day HR responsibilities with building structure and supporting growth in a multi-company environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment activities across all Genesis Group companies
- Create and manage job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding
- Partner with managers to identify current and future staffing needs
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent as the organization continues to grow
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support workforce planning and business growth
Human Resources Administration
- Serve as the primary Human Resources contact for all Genesis Group companies
- Administer HR programs, policies, and procedures
- Maintain employee files, records, and HR documentation
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives
- Assist with employee engagement activities and workplace culture initiatives
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Support employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Provide guidance on company policies and HR best practices
- Assist in resolving workplace concerns and maintaining positive employee relationships
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organizational requirements
Health & Safety
- Administer and support Health & Safety programs across all Genesis Group companies
- Coordinate safety training, certifications, and documentation
- Assist with workplace inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company policies
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization
Policy Development & Organizational Support
- Develop, review, and maintain company policies and procedures
- Support the implementation and communication of policy updates
- Prepare reports, employee communications, and HR-related documentation
- Support initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the Genesis Group Finance Department and organization as a whole
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased organizational efficiency
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- CHRP designation or progress toward designation is considered an asset
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience
- Experience with recruitment and talent acquisition
- Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices
- Experience supporting Health & Safety programs is considered an asset
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations as required

Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $50,000 – $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
