The Armour Group Limited is seeking a Director of Small Jobs and Capital Projects to join our team.

As the Director of Small Jobs and Capital Projects, you will lead and manage a portfolio of concurrent interior
renovation and tenant fit-up projects (including but not limited to apartment, restaurants & bars), typically with
budgets under $2 million. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight to a multidisciplinary
project team, including Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Site Superintendents, and third-party general
contractors.

You are a client-focused leader who can adapt your approach to meet diverse stakeholder needs. This role is ideal
for an action-oriented professional with a hands-on style,



a strong track record of delivering projects on time and
within budget, and the ability to tailor solutions to clients and project requirements.

As a Director of Small Jobs and Capital Projects, you’ll get to:

- Lead and oversee all phases of interior related & capital projects, coordinating clients, consultants,

trades, and internal stakeholders.

- Develop, manage, and control project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

- Evaluate projects and determine opportunities for time and cost efficiencies.

- Serve as the primary client contact, managing communication related to scope, schedule, budget, and

change management.

- Ability to build a strong network and relationships with trades in the industry.

- Administer prime contracts and subcontracts, including procurement, negotiation, performance

evaluation, and compliance.

- Review design and engineering documents to ensure quality, constructability, and adherence to

specifications and standards.

- Monitor project financial performance, including cost tracking, billings, revenue opportunities, and

reporting to senior management.

- Ensure health and safety compliance on-site while proactively identifying and mitigating construction

risks and issues.

- Supervise and develop project teams while managing multiple projects and maintaining strong

relationships with all stakeholders.

Your qualifications include:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferable, however architecture,



project management, or a related

field considered an asset; PMP designation and/or a P.ENG.

- 3-4+ years of project management experience primarily with both commercial & residential interior fit-

ups.

- Demonstrated success delivering projects within defined financial, operational, and schedule targets.

- Robust leadership skills with experience supervising, mentoring, and directing project teams.

- Working knowledge of building codes, health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Ability to read, interpret, and administer drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.

- Exceptional communication, and relationship-building skills with a collaborative, results-oriented

approach.

- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.

- Thorough knowledge of procurement and practices as applied to planning, design and operation of high-

end assets.
- Proficiency with project management and operational software, including MS Project, Excel, and related

PM systems.
- Valid driver license with ability to travel to New Brunswick
