Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Concrete Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various concrete-related tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring quality workmanship and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and familiarity with construction tools and techniques. Prior experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or general construction is highly valued. This position offers opportunities for skill development in heavy equipment operation, blueprint reading, and renovation projects.

Duties

- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth, durable surfaces
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as caulking, cutting, and shaping materials
- Install rebar and reinforcement materials according to schematics and blueprints
- Perform masonry work including restoration and flooring installation as needed
- Use heavy equipment for lifting and moving materials around the job site
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution




- Support carpentry tasks related to concrete forms and structural components
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Experience

- Prior experience in construction or concrete work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific tasks
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, welding, or renovation projects is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, masonry techniques, and blueprint reading is advantageous
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as mixers or lifts is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding environments
- Solid understanding of schematics and construction schematics related to concrete forms and installation processes

This role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Candidates should be prepared to contribute effectively within a team environment while adhering to project deadlines.

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
