Job Overview

STEFANO'S INC is currently hiring 4 Long Haul Truck Drivers for full-time, in office positions based in Saint John, NB. This role involves cross-border transportation and long-haul driving across various routes.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and adjust routes using GPS and navigation tools to optimize fuel efficiency
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks (tractor-trailer A train)
- Load and unload goods safely
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Monitor vehicle condition (tires, brakes, lights, refrigeration units, etc.)
- Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs (including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs)
- Maintain accurate logs (cargo, hours of service, fuel consumption, mileage)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch
- Ensure cargo safety,



including tarping and securing loads
- Handle required documentation for cross-border transportation

Requirements

- Language: English
- Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- License: Valid AZ Class License
- Willingness to travel long-haul and cross-border

Documentation Knowledge

- Driver logbook
- Inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
- Accident/incident reports
- Maintenance and repair records
- Trans-border documentation

Work Conditions

- On-site position (no remote work)
- Day shifts, on-call, and weekends as required
- Long-haul travel required

Eligibility
