Job Summary

We are seeking a long term, professional and highly organized Dental Receptionist to join our busy and growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE working in a dental clinic. This role requires familiarity with dental office procedures, dental codes, and multi-line phone systems to ensure smooth daily operations, and to be able to work independently some days. This role is NOT suitable for a new grad.

Duties

- Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments with professionalism and courtesy
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using *Cleardent* software
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, direct calls, and take messages accurately
- Verify patient insurance information
- Collect payments, co-pays, and outstanding balances at the front desk
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional setting
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure patient flow runs smoothly throughout the day
- Monday 9-4, Tuesday 11-7, Wednesday 11-7, Thursday 9-4, Friday 9-3. No Weekends :)
- Pay rates can be discussed further, at the time of interview

Qualifications

- Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly preferred!
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Cleardent
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor
- Proven ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment




- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
