Service Plumber / Gasfitter

Fly in Fly out role, Located in Yellowknife NT, Canada

Our client is looking for experienced Plumbers and Gasfitters to join their team in a fly-in/fly-out role based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. This opportunity is with a well-established mechanical contractor that has been providing construction and maintenance services to commercial, residential, and industrial clients across northern regions for over 30 years.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems
- Diagnose and repair propane and gas systems
- Identify and troubleshoot leaks, blockages, corrosion, and system damage
- Repair or replace faulty components in water and HVAC systems
- Install piping and fixtures to ensure proper water flow and drainage
- Communicate with clients to assess issues and provide solutions
- Offer guidance on system maintenance and care

Qualifications

- Journeyperson certification preferred
- 5+ years of plumbing experience, ideally in a commercial setting
- Experience with gas and propane systems
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Own tools required
- Apprentices (1st–4th year) will also be considered

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
