Precision Grounds Landscaping is located in Stayner Ontario . We are looking for 1 LANDSCAPE ASSISTANT to join our team. Previous experience an asset. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable person, who wants to broaden their skills and build a career in this industry, and grow with our company.

We have been providing customized, high-quality work that has beautified outdoor environments in and around the Collingwood community since 2015. Our knowledgeable team gives 100% on every project we undertake, and it includes using the best materials, communicating regularly with our clients and completing projects on time and on budget.

A Landscape assistant is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks (generally physical labor) to assist with maintenance contracts that include both grass and garden maintenance. The landscape assistant will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specific job tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

- G license with clean drivers abstract
- Reliable transportation to and from yardis an asset, but not required.
- Personally organized to report for work daily, prepared for the weather, with enough food and fluids for the day

5 skills (you are able and willing to);

- Interpret information (capable of taking verbal instructions into action for task completion)
- Lift 50 pounds lift and carry up to 20 pounds and work physically all day (ie walking, bending , crouching, standing, kneeling)
- Fast moving work in fast moving environment and asks questions




- Be a dependable team player who shows up everyday and on time
- Consistently tries to improve

JOB DUTIES:

1. Follow instructions and schedule and work along side other team member(s), performing general landscape tasks which include but are not limited to; Mowing, Gardening, and other property maintenance tasks as assigned.

2. Takes care in unloading and reloading tools from the trailer. Promptly reports damaged, broken or missing tools to supervisor

3. Works with teammates to ensure start and end of day checklists are completed

WORK CONDITIONS:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Job requires good manual dexterity and stamina
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required
