Are you a mechanically and electrically skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment?

We are looking for a Laser Field Service Technician to support advanced Mitsubishi laser cutting systems used by leading manufacturers across Canada.

You do not need previous laser experience to be successful in this role. We are looking for technicians with a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting who are eager to learn specialized laser technology.

Through a structured 6 to 7 month peer buddy training program, you will work alongside experienced technicians to develop the skills needed to confidently service, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial laser equipment.

What You'll Do

As a Laser Field Service Technician, you will:

- Travel to customer facilities to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial laser equipment
- Diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
- Interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and machine documentation
- Troubleshoot machine controls, motors, drives, and mechanical components
- Support customers onsite and remotely
- Document service activities and communicate solutions clearly
- Build strong relationships with customers through professional technical support

- CNC Field Service Technician
- Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Industrial Electrician
- Millwright
- Automation Technician
- Robotics Technician
- Machine Builder
- Manufacturing Equipment Technician

Successful candidates will have:

- Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver's licence
- Willingness to travel

Experience with laser equipment, Mitsubishi systems, CNC machinery, PLCs, servo systems, Diesel Technicians, Aviation Technicians, HVAC Professionals or Automotive Mechanics is an asset.

Compensation and Travel Benefits
