Overview
We are seeking a CWB Certified Structural Steel Welder/Fabricator to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards. The Fabricator/Welder will work on diverse projects, contributing to the manufacturing of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and ductwork.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
- Conduct assembly of components according to specifications while ensuring compliance with ASME codes & standards.
- Measure and cut materials using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills for accurate dimensions.
- Operate cranes and forklifts safely for material handling and rigging tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.




- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in fabrication and welding within a construction or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge and machining processes is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of construction site practices including safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
