JOB TITLE Production Area Manager

(Full Time Salary)

REPORTS TO Store / Owner Manager

Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily operations of the Store.
- Thoroughly understand store / department vision to articulate and communicate to staff.
- Contributes to achieving sales and profit objectives by executing merchandising plans, managing inventory levels, checking invoices for receipt and correct costing & utilizing effective tool usage (CAO, FIM, WFM)
- Manages store staff by assisting hiring, providing clear direction, reviewing performance, providing timely feedback.
- Ensures customer service standards by managing product quality and variety, maintaining department appearance, greeting customers and responding to their needs, concerns, inquiries, as well resolving issues and complaints.
- Ensures compliance with government legislation and company standards including food safety & OHS directives.
- Perform Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Required Skills & Abilities:

- Great customer service skills




- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to lead, management and develop a team of 100 or more employees
- Ability to read, understand and positively effect period financial results.
- Basic computer skills ( knowledge is an asset)
- Ability to multi task and work effectively in a fast paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
- Effective problem solving skill
- Experience with Sobeys policy and programs is REQUIRED
