Rutherflo Transportation Limited is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and caring Bus Drivers to join our family run, community-oriented company for routes encompassing Northumberland County.

Applicants must have

- Valid Class B licence

- Clean Driver abstract

- Vulnerable Sector Check less than one year old which is required by M.T.O

- First Aid Class 3 (First Aid Training is available)

We offer competitive pay based on individual routes in addition to school charter opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate buses following all traffic laws and company policies
- Transport passengers along scheduled routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures




- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment by performing routine inspections and basic mechanical checks
- Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address concerns
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure passenger safety at all times
- Keep accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents or maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, helpful, and professional at all times

Skills

- Experience working with children is preferred; patience and empathy are essential
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to vehicle operation is advantageous
- Excellent driving record with a valid class B Licence
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Valuable organizational skills for maintaining schedules and documentation
