Synopsis:

Responsibilities:
- Participate in the execution of customized patient care within a team based workflow
- Fulfilling medication orders for delivery including manual adherence packaging and liquid unit dosing
- Timely processing of requests from continuing care homes
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for delivery
- Provide excellent and timely service delivery to our clients,
including managing the regular schedule of medication preparation, bagging, and delivery for our continuing care clients
- Data entry and billing of prescriptions through Kroll ensuring; all required documentation is appropriate including (but not limited to) dosage and dosing intervals, third party billing restrictions, co-payment management, coordination of benefits
- Utilize integrated technologies for the delivery of excellent client care, ie Catalyst, Point Click Care, PacMed and PacVision
- Collaborate and participate in ongoing efforts to improve workflow effectiveness
- Monitoring and recording of site refrigeration temperatures
- Ordering, stocking, inventory management and cashier duties as assigned/when required
- Effectively communicating with all stakeholders
- Working collaboratively with all team members
- Maintaining a high level of self-motivation and accountability
- Assisting AR supervisor with various tasks
- Other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist on duty
Qualifications:
- Excellent working knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems in a community or long term care setting
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills
- Experience with PacMed, PacVision and Catalyst
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Retail/Community/Long Term Care Pharmacy experience
- Experience with AADL and batch billings is an asset
- Experience in adjudication and special authorization processes
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
