Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures.
- Assist the dentist during various treatments, including exams, cleanings, orthodontics, and restorative procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in accurate diagnosis.
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
- Handle administrative tasks like scheduling appointments, greeting patients as a dental receptionist,



and managing patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards to ensure a sterile environment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in dental assisting with knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Familiarity with dental software platforms record management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation and communication.
- Ability to operate CAD systems for digital impressions or imaging is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in dental assisting.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
