Viking Landscaping Inc. is looking for motivated Landscape Labourers to help us close out the 2026 landscaping season. We work on a variety of residential and commercial landscaping projects throughout Winnipeg and surrounding communities, providing high-quality landscape construction and maintenance services.

We are also seeking employees for the on-call snow removal season 2026-2027. Starting at our yard for Snow Removal-Hand Shovelers then we head out to sites in company vehicles. Work is scheduled based on snow fall and hours can vary depending on weather- you must be available to come in on short notice for a shift and be prepared to work long hours. Starting wage for snow clearing- Hand Shoveler is $18/hr.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team.

Landscaping Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 10-hour days
- Work begins either at our yard or directly at the job site

Snow Removal Schedule

- On-call
- Weekdays and Weekends
- We go once is snows!

Responsibilities

As a Landscape Labourer,



you will assist with a wide range of landscaping and construction tasks, including:

- Wheelbarrowing, shoveling, and site preparation
- Removing existing grass, plants, and landscape materials
- Lawn care and general landscape maintenance
- Other duties as required

As a hand shoveler, you will:

- hand shovel snow
- hand chip ice
- operator snow blowers
- explicit commercial and residential sites

Requirements

Successful applicants should:

- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Be physically capable of heavy outdoor work, including lifting 50+ lbs
- Be comfortable working long days outdoors in varying weather conditions

Applicants must also:

- Have CSA-approved steel toe boots and hard hat

A valid class 5 driver's license is an assest!
