Position Title: Server FULL TIME AND PART TIME

Location: The Mash | Mahogany

Reports To: Front of House Manager / Restaurant Manager

We offer a unique dining experience featuring pizza dough made from upcycled brewers grain, among other innovative dishes. Our mission is to provide delicious, sustainable cuisine while maintaining exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Position Overview: We are seeking a personable and attentive Server to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring that guests have an outstanding dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Service:
- Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and offer detailed descriptions of menu items, highlighting sustainable practices and unique ingredients.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure guests are satisfied with their meals.
- Order Management:
- Enter orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food.




- Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs, refilling drinks and clearing plates as necessary.
- Sales and Promotions:
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Promote the restaurant’s sustainable initiatives and unique selling points.
- Provide information on events, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Cleanliness and Organization:
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about menu changes and restaurant policies.
- Provide support to other team members during busy shifts.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for sustainability and knowledge of eco-friendly practices in the restaurant industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
