Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, experienced and and attentive Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS transactions using Givex POS or similar systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and billing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety.
- Restock bar inventory as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies.
- Comply with all food safety regulations and food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate service flow during busy hours.




- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the food industry trends to suggest popular drinks or specials when appropriate.

Requirements

- Pro Serve certified. Minimum of 1 year Bartending experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in restaurant/food service environments.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Givex POS or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating drink recipes accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Hospitality background or experience working in a food industry setting is advantageous.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment.
