Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman for a 15-day project to support our facilities maintenance and repair needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and welding skills in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for performing a variety of repair, installation, and troubleshooting tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facilities. Your leadership and customer service skills will be essential in coordinating with team members and ensuring high standards of workmanship throughout the project duration.

Duties

- Conduct general repairs and maintenance across multiple facility areas, including plumbing, electrical systems, and structural components
- Utilize schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
- Perform welding tasks as needed to repair or fabricate metal structures or components
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automated equipment when required
- Maintain accurate records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance history
- Supervise or assist other team members during complex repair tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Communicate clearly with team members and management to report progress, issues, or safety concerns





Requirements

- Proven supervising experience in facilities maintenance or related fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairs, installations, and troubleshooting
- Electrical experience including working with schematics and wiring systems
- Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to fabricate or repair metal parts
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems
- Experience using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of manufacturing environments or industrial facilities is preferred
- Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings effectively
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
