Pylon Electronics Inc is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration facility supporting both electronic and physical test equipment and is one of the largest Canadian Owned Calibration Laboratories. Pylon Electronics has a solid reputation in the repair and calibration of measuring instruments. We currently have seven laboratories located in Montreal (QC), Ottawa (ON), Toronto (ON), Dartmouth (NS), Calgary (AB), Edmonton (AB), and Richmond (BC).

What we are looking for:

Pylon Electronics is seeking a qualified individual for a full‑time Logistics Associate position. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day logistics operations. This multifaceted position combines shipping and receiving duties with company vehicle driving responsibilities. The successful candidate must be fully comfortable operating company work vehicles to transport goods safely and reliably between locations. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to safety and punctuality are essential for success in this role.

What you will do:

- Complete work promptly to ensure customer delivery expectations are met or exceeded.
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Review Purchase Orders for accuracy and special instructions.
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping manifests.
- Keep detailed records of shipments, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
- Perform data entry to receive customer jobs into the management system.
- Clean and move equipment into the appropriate lab for calibration.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure customer equipment and order is complete.
- Package tools to ensure a safe return to the customer.




- Coordinate for pickup of tools either through customer or carrier.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures required by Quality and Procedures Manuals.
- Collaborate with other logistic staff, procurement, and other relevant departments to facilitate smooth operations.
- Maintain the order and cleanliness of the shipping and receiving area.
- Operate company vehicles (e.g., trucks, vans) in a safe and responsible manner.
- Transport goods between different locations, ensuring timely and secure delivery.

What we require:

- 2 plus year’s proven experience in receiving, warehouse operations and driving company work vehicles.
- Ability to lift 50+lbs and maintain the physical stamina needed for inventory handling and facility upkeep.
- Proficient in data entry and basic mathematics with a strong commitment to health and safety regulations.
- Valid G driver’s license (6+ Years Experience) and a clean driver’s abstract
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail, especially when handling fragile inventory and managing time
- Qualified, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Controlled Goods & Industrial Security Clearance of Secret Level II will be required.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous security screening to obtain a Secret Security Clearance with the Industrial Security and Controlled Goods Program.
