Commercial Insurance Broker (RIBO licensed)

Our client is looking for a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join their team in Mississauga. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional to take ownership of a diverse commercial book of business, focusing on client relationship management, renewals, and account growth.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering high-quality service while identifying opportunities to strengthen and expand coverage.

Responsibilities

- Act as the main point of contact for commercial insurance clients
- Manage day-to-day client inquiries and provide timely service support
- Handle policy renewals and negotiate coverage terms with insurers
- Assist clients with the initial reporting and processing of claims
- Collaborate with insurers to advocate on behalf of clients
- Identify opportunities for account growth and cross-selling additional coverage
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency systems
- Prepare policy documentation, endorsements, and related correspondence
- Work closely with internal team members to ensure seamless client service delivery




- Support retention efforts through proactive client engagement

Qualifications

- RIBO license (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario)
- 3+ years of commercial insurance experience, ideally mid-market accounts
- CIP, FCIP, or CAIB designation (completed or in progress) an asset
- Experience with industries such as manufacturing, construction, E&O;, D&O;, large auto fleets, or realty (realty experience considered an asset)
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage types
- Experience with client relationship management and retention
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with EPIC or other insurance systems an asset

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
