Landscape Technician ( fixed term contract but opportunity to become permanent )

Location: based in Oakville

Start date: Sept 8th, 2026

Compensation: $25.55– $28,00 an hour, commensurate with industry or transferable work experience

A Landscape Technician at Cudmore’s Landscape & Design are punctual, team-focussed and eager to learn and quickly expand their skillset. Essential to our team success, this role works closely with skilled Lead Hands, Crew Leaders, Project Managers and our Designers, getting hands on with project fulfilment, installation of softscapes and hardscapes, working with plant and stone material and delivering exceptional results and amazing spaces for our clients and community to enjoy.

Successful Landscape Technicians are hungry to learn and grow, collaborators, proactive thinkers, and emotionally intelligent team players. Like everyone at Team Blue, this person will check their ego at the door and join a team of professionals who adore our industry, working outdoors, daily physical and mental challenges, and tangible accomplishments each and every day.

You day-to-day will vary, but working on our Build-Enhance line of business means you'll work collaborative with your crew to install weathered limestone boulders, plant a wide variety of plant material from ornamental specimen trees to native perennials, you'll prepare and support the installation of precast patio spaces, handle natural stone and participate in the installation of flagstone pathways, pads and spaces to gather. You'll plant, split and transplant material, renovate gardens and integrate new and mature plant material. You'll work side-by-side with talented,



caring team members, the company owner and senior design staff as well. With a growth-mindset, hard work and focus, the sky is your limit within our growing company.
