Wilco Contractors Southwest Inc. is hiring Experienced FINISH GPS Excavator Operators for our large scale Earthworks, Underground and Civil Projects.

Duties and Responsibilities;

- Operate and control equipment safely in varying ground conditions.
- Follow safe work practices, procedures, and specific work site conditions.
- Complete daily inspections and hazard assessments.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
- Inform management or mechanic of major repairs and maintenance requirements.
- Willing and able to assist ground crew when equipment/machine, is not in use
- Strong communication skills

Qualifications and Requirements;

- 5+ years experience as Finish Excavator
- Strong ability to cut to finish grade on ditches, berms, and slopes; all with a high level of precision.
- Experienced with GPS is an asset, but can be trained by Wilco HEO Manager.
- Experience working around multiple utilities.
- Knowledge of and adherence to,



ground disturbance standards and regulations.
- Experience in performing daily maintenance and checks on heavy machines.
- Valid driver’s license as well as a clean driver abstract
- Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60.0 – 72.0 per week
