As a Heavy-Duty Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate, based in Edmonton, the applicant will work on a fast-paced cross-dock and be involved with the following:

· Loading and unloading goods/oversize cargos in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines.

· Assisting Warehouse Manager in daily duties

· Receiving incoming shipments and inspecting goods for accuracy and integrity.

· Putting away goods to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner.

· Picking, packing, preparing orders for shipping, and truck loading including supporting documentation

· Liaison between departments and work with customers responding to quotes and existing workflow

· Do daily warehouse administration as directed by the Warehouse Manager

· Arranging temporary manpower requirements necessary to maintain established service levels

· Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure effective internal and external customer service.





· Shipping and receiving

· Ensuing good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.

· Safely operating a forklift

2-3 years experience in heavy duty forklift operation (Hyster360)

2-3 years warehouse experience

Must have an experience in transloading oversize cargos

Experience in the palletizing, bundling, banding and LTL transport is an asset

Physically capable of manual lifting, up to 50 lbs

Shunting experience is an asset
