Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Overall Dental Operations Manager to lead and optimize the daily functions of our dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical and administrative operations, ensure compliance with industry standards, and foster a positive environment for both staff and patients. Responsibilities

- Manage the overall daily operations of the dental practice, including clinical workflows, administrative tasks, and patient services
- Supervise dental office staff, including hygienists, administrative personnel, and support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and staff development
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, OSHA standards, and industry best practices
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using systems like Dentrix or similar software platforms
- Monitor practice budgets, control expenses, and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize operational efficiency




- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth practice operations and equipment maintenance

Requirements

- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administration with a strong understanding of dental practice workflows
- Familiarity with Dentrix or comparable electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations relevant to dental practices
- Prior supervisory experience managing teams within a medical or dental environment
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation in a healthcare setting
- Background in medical office or hospital environments is highly desirable, especially with nursing or acute care experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, patients, vendors, and regulatory bodies
