Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lawn Care Technician to support our landscaping team in maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is eager to learn and grow within the landscaping industry. This role involves hands-on lawn care and general landscape maintenance tasks under the direction of the Care Team Leader.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine lawn care duties including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
- Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, planting, mulching, and pruning.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
- Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
- Follow instructions from the Care Team Leader to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites and company vehicles.
- Identify and report any issues or maintenance needs on properties.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company standards.

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience in landscaping or lawn care is an asset but not required.




- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of lawn care and gardening practices is beneficial.
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn landscaping equipment.
- Valuable communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

- Toronto, ON M4G 3S8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

- English (required)
- Spanish (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
