Park View Homes is seeking an experienced Commercial Site Supervisor to lead the construction of multiple townhome projects. Job Overview

The Commercial Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing multiple townhome sites, units, or phases at once, managing subcontractors and the Park View Homes team, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets. Bringing commercial-scale construction experience, this role provides leadership across concurrent workstreams, delegates day-to-day site oversight to foremen and site leads, and is accountable for the overall progress, quality, and safety of all assigned sites, reporting directly to the Construction Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Oversee and manage construction activities across multiple townhome sites, units, or phases simultaneously, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications




- Conduct regular quality control inspections
- Delegate day-to-day site oversight to foremen, leads, or assistant supervisors, and hold them accountable for schedule, quality, and safety standards
- Manage subcontractors and the Park View team across concurrent projects, ensuring that they are performing work according to project schedules and quality standards
- Enforce safety policies and procedures across all active job sites to maintain a safe work workplace for all employees and subcontractors
- Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, across multiple concurrent sites
- Work closely with the project coordinator to set out and align effective schedules for trades across all active sites
- Manage and ensure that materials and equipment are allocated and delivered to the appropriate job sites as needed, prioritizing across competing demands
- Monitor progress across all assigned sites and provide regular, consolidated updates to the construction manager
- Identify and resolve issues or challenges that arise across multiple sites, escalating and prioritizing as needed
- Conduct regular site inspections across all assigned locations and report any major problems to construction managers
- Maintain accurate records of project activities across all sites, including daily progress reports, safety reports, and material usage reports
- Train and mentor foremen and site leads on construction safety regulations, and enforce site safety rules across all locations to minimize work-related accidents and injuries
- Maintain an accurate record of construction employee attendance across all assigned sites
- Review construction plans to verify that projects adhere to design specifications,



and communicate with the estimator and construction manager to confirm that budget specifications are being met across all active sites
- Recommend changes to construction operations or procedures, drawing on commercial-scale best practices, to increase efficiency across projects

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, including experience overseeing multiple sites, units, or phases concurrently (commercial or high-volume residential experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and manage through foremen, leads, or assistant supervisors
- Knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations
- Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to interpret drawings/specifications
- Outstanding leadership, delegation, and communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing demands across multiple active sites
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient mathematical skills

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with the following experience will be considered strong assets:

- Commercial, multi-unit residential, or townhome construction
- Leadership of multiple concurrent construction projects
- Experience with scheduling software and construction management systems
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, First Aid, or other industry certifications
- Experience mentoring or developing junior supervisors and foremen

Work Environment

- Full-time, permanent position
- Primarily based on active construction sites
- Travel between multiple job sites is required
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines
