Working FEMALE who is 5 ft 7in, heavy-set, wheelchair-bound with MS, is looking for a part-time personal assistant/home care aide to work in a cohesive established team. This is a physically demanding job. Good body mechanics and strength are needed.

Experience is helpful but not critical. Training provided to someone who is the right fit and who is willing to learn. Staff employed here are exceptionally satisfied, finding great value in the work and in the team.

Required:

1. A robust work ethic, physical fitness, attention to detail, flexibility in scheduling, a positive attitude.

2. Ability to take detailed/complex direction in English.

3. Holidays, weekdays and weekends, longer and brief shifts – all are available -- with weekend work expected.

4. Consistency and reliability.

NECESSARY (no exceptions):

- CLASS 5 BC Driver's License




- Own reliable transport
- Police Record Check
- Doctor’s release, and CoVID-19 vaccine certification (minimum proof of 2 vaccines are essential for employment here)
- Three (3) references (2 professional, 1 personal -- no relatives please)

Job Types: Part time, Casual

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
