Responsibilities

- Load and unload shipments using various heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes while adhering to safety standards.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and other mechanical tools to accurately pick, pack, and process orders.
- Assist with order picking and order fulfillment tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by preparing goods for dispatch and verifying incoming deliveries.
- Use pallet jacks, load bars, and other materials handling equipment to move large quantities of goods efficiently.




- Conduct regular safety inspections following OSHA guidelines and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
- Support warehouse supervisors in maintaining organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance throughout the facility.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar heavy labour roles; warehouse experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks; certification is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and materials handling tools.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting consistently and safely.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards relevant to construction sites or warehouse environments.
- Previous experience in order picking, load & unload operations, or working with heavy equipment will be advantageous.
