Piano Sales

Merriam Pianos has grown to become one of Canada’s most respected – and largest – piano retailers, serving over 1500 customers per year from the GTA and beyond. Our team of 10 is always seeking to grow and welcome new talent, and we’re accepting resumes for individuals with a keen interest in problem-solving, inter-personal connections, love knowing and figuring out ‘how things work’, and an internal need to succeed. Piano sales representatives are trained by the best in the industry in several skill areas:

- Technical knowledge of how digital and acoustic pianos are made and function

- Industry knowledge of all manufacturers, their techniques, their histories, and their place in the world

- Consultative techniques to fully and quickly understand a customer’s needs, challenges, and pain points

Most piano specialist roles are full time, and you’ll spend your time at one or several of our three GTA showrooms in Oakville, Vaughan, and Toronto.

Qualifications

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in the arts, humanities, business, or science

- Some connection with a musical instrument – past or present. Not at a professional level

- Strong written and verbal communication

- Strong technical knowledge and computer skills





- Industry backgrounds in the following a plus, but not required: Fitness, Fashion or Home Retail, Small Business Ownership, Online Business/E-commerce
