We’re looking for an organized and experienced Medical Administrator to join our excellent team and support the day-to-day operations of our clinic. This role helps keep the clinic running smoothly, supports the medical team, and contributes to a positive, healthy, and professional work environment for both staff and patients.
Responsibilities
- General office duties such as handling phone, email and fax inquiries, as well as in-person; and appointment bookings
- Register patients on arrival, verify demographics, and update patient records
- Perform basic clinical support tasks such as blood pressure measurements
- Fax, Receive and process referrals and requisitions
- Maintain accurate patient information, including medications
- Ensure examination rooms and front desk areas are clean and organized
- Follow clinic policies, privacy legislation, and patient safety standards
- ECG and Holter hookups as required (training provided)
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience as a medical office administrator
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Commitment to quality patient care, strong work ethics
- Basic computer and EMR skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology (cardiology an asset)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Eligible to work in Canada; criminal record check required
Schedule: Day shifts, Afternoon shifts (12 hours shifts & Saturdays as needed)
Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
