Our client, a leading manufacturer in the packaging industry, is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their HR team. This is a full time, onsite position responsible for supporting payroll and benefits administration while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent employee service.

Key Responsibilities

- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Review and validate payroll data, timecards, overtime, premiums, and other earnings for accuracy and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and timekeeping issues.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, advantages, and employment documentation.
- Maintain employee records within payroll and time & attendance systems.
- Support benefits administration, enrollments, eligibility tracking, and reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll reporting, T4 processing, WSIB reporting, and year-end activities.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, company policies, and internal controls.

Job Experience

- 3-4 years of payroll experience in a mid-sized organization.
- Solid experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN), preferably AutoPay.
- Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
- Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and payroll systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build effective working relationships.

Job Education





- PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation is considered an asset.
