PAY: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
SCHEDULE: 10-hour day shifts, Monday to Thursday. Half-day Fridays.

We offer a multi trade environment within a lean process workplace. We are looking to grow our team. We currently have an opportunity for a Material Handler.
The successful candidate, under the direction of the Inventory Manager, will primarily be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate movement of materials throughout the facility to support manufacturing, shipping, and receiving operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining production flow, managing inventory accuracy, and supporting ISO documentation compliance. The Material Handler must work closely with team leads, inventory staff, and quality assurance to ensure materials are handled in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.

Job Duties
- Pull, deliver, and stage production materials based on work orders and inventory protocols.
- Organize and maintain stock locations to ensure productive material flow and traceability.
- Accurately document the movement of materials and maintain ISO-compliant records of inventory transactions, receipts, and returns.
- Support incoming inspection by delivering components for review and filing associated documentation.
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory activities to ensure system accuracy.
- Package and prepare finished goods for shipping; confirm shipment details and complete necessary documentation.
- Receive materials and verify against packing slips, labeling inventory accordingly.
- Maintain clean and organized material staging and storage areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and responsibly.
- Perform daily equipment checks and minor maintenance tasks as required.
- Adhere to workplace safety regulations and report any safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with sorting, labeling, and cataloging materials and returns.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth material flow and resolve issues proactively.
ISO Compliance
- Ensure all material movements and documentation meet ISO 13485 requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for traceability of components and finished goods.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing and presenting material handling records.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and process efficiency.

Job Requirements
- Three years of related experience in manufacturing preferred
- Certifications or licences appropriate to manufacturing industry
- Degree or diploma in a manufacturing-related field (would be an asset)
- Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and tools required in various assembly processes
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems would be preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift operations experience required
- Minimum of 1 Material handling experience required
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labour
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Demonstrated ability to operate material-handling equipment
- Eye hand coordination
Working Conditions
- Exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Frequent lifting, standing, walking, and bending
- Handling materials weighing up to 80 lbs
- Operation of forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
