Summary

Reefer Installer is a vital role at Reefer Sales & Service. This position involves installing and maintaining reefer units to ensure optimal performance and reliability, supporting our mission to provide top-tier transportation solutions.

Responsibilities

- Mounting new and/or used trailer and/or truck refrigeration systems onto new truck/trailer equipment using overhead cranes, forklifts, or other lifting devices
- Mounting fuel tanks and running fuel lines;
- Installation of current chutes, bulkheads, center divide systems, telematics/GPS systems, solar panels, etc;
- Repairs to refrigerated transportation equipment based on skillset and experience;
- Other various duties as required.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in reefer or refrigeration installation is preferred - factory training would be an asset.
- Basic hand tool experience would be an asset.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be self-managed.
- Able to work in non-climate controlled environment.
- Evening/weekend work is required with overtime opportunities.
- Ability to regularly lift and or move up to 25lbs/12kgs,



frequently lift and or move up to 50lbs / 23kgs and occasionally lift and or move up to 100bs / 45kgs.
- Must have a "go getter" attitude and strong customer service skills.

Compensation: Starting from $24/hr. and up, based on experience and skillset

This is a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension or moving to a full-time role.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
