Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist (MRT) to join our Waterloo team on a full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic X-ray procedures while delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with CMRTO standards and ALARA principles
- Review patient histories, prepare and position patients,



and clearly explain procedures in a calm and reassuring manner
- Ensure optimal image quality while strictly maintaining radiation safety protocols
- Provide support to patients throughout the examination process, including assisting with mobility as needed
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, fellow technologists, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, following all infection control protocols

Qualifications

- Member in valuable standing with the CMRTO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario)
- CAMRT certification preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiation Technology program
- 1–5 years of experience preferred (new graduates with strong clinical training welcome to apply)
- Current Professional Liability Insurance
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and upholding regulatory standards
- Compassionate, respectful, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
