Responsibilities:

- Assist embarking/disembarking wheelchair passengers and personal effects from aircraft

through the port facility to the parking facility.

- Assist embarking/disembarking wheelchair passengers and personal effects from the parking

facility through the port facility to the aircraft.

- Assist wheelchair passengers’ transfers, including infield terminal.
- Attend to wheelchair carry-on/carry-off/stretcher passengers, personal effects, and any

passenger requiring assistance.

- Assess passengers' needs and abilities to make use of the correct mobility equipment.
- Carry and operate a radio/device as required.
- Assist wheelchair passengers with personal effects as required; this does not include

checked baggage. Porters may be used to assist with baggage.

- Monitor special needs passengers and personal effects in airports, Airline lounges, customer

care centers, shopping areas, etc.

- Fill out passenger log sheets in a comprehensive and accurate manner.

Qualifications:

- Candidates must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexibility to do shifts for 24/7 operation.



Able to work irregular work hours in the early

mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and statutory holidays.

- Have excellent communication skills, able to work with peers and customers by building solid

relationships.

- Minimum of 18 years old.
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident or valid work permit.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Restricted Area Identification Card.
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills and be a robust team player.
- Customer service oriented, well organized and have excellent time management skills.
- Able to work within strict timelines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while ensuring

safety always.

- English Proficient, reading and writing ability to speak other languages is an asset.
- Ability to frequently push, pull, and lift wheelchairs and wheelchair-bound passengers.

Ability to lift to 70 lbs.

- Completion of in-class and online training modules is mandatory

Pay: $18.00-$18.25 per hour
