The Career Foundation is seeking a full-time Sales Associate on behalf of one of our employer partners.

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join a growing appliance retailer. This role combines both retail showroom sales and outside sales, providing opportunities to build relationships with walk-in customers as well as builders and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist walk-in customers in selecting appliances that best meet their needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with builders and outside/commercial clients.
- Generate new business opportunities through outside sales activities.
- Prepare quotations and close sales.
- Promote warranties, upgrades, and additional products.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay informed on current promotions.
- Follow up with customers to ensure a positive purchasing experience.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals.

Qualifications

- Previous retail sales experience required.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a customer-focused attitude.




- Comfortable working towards sales targets and earning commission.
- Available to work weekends.
- A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for outside sales activities.

Compensation

- Guaranteed training salary of $712 per week for the first 3 months.
- After the initial training period, compensation transitions to a commission-based structure with a weekly draw of $250.
- Competitive commission structure, including:
- 11% commission on regular sales
- 4% on upgrades
- 20% on warranty sales
- 4% on clearance items
- Additional vendor and manufacturer incentive programs (spiffs).
- Excellent earning potential for motivated sales professionals.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
