COST ESTIMATOR

JTL Integrated Machine Corp is one of the largest CNC machining facilities and

fabrication shops in North America.

Duties:

 Preparing customer quotations

 Obtaining cost estimates from suppliers

 Prepare materials, labour and equipment cost estimations necessary to

successfully carry out a construction project according to proposals, plans,

estimates and specifications.

 Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates on

conceptual, design-build or general tender work

 Establish unit costs, labour rates, productivity factors and location impacts.

 Support other department personnel by preparing estimates for other

disciplines.

 Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost,

engineering quality, or availability of materials.

 Provide technical assistance in negotiating contracts, change orders, etc.

as required.

Skills Required:

 2 years of solid machine shop experience.

 Completion of College/Technical Training or equivalent.





 Must have a proven background in machine shop operations and be

capable of preparing complete costing estimates.

 Capable of reading and understanding engineered drawings and

documents.

 Knowledge of fabrication and welding.

 Excellent time management, planning and organization skills and ability to

work with minimal supervision.

 Solid computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office programs

such as Word, Excel and Microsoft Project.

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written

and verbal.

Wage is based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $72,800.00-$83,200.00 per year
